Indian television’s one of the longest running shows Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah enjoys a huge fanbase. The show features people from different religions staying together in harmony while facing daily life problems and helping each other during their time of need. The show has been airing since 2008 and the characters have a special place in the hearts of the audience. Tanmay Vekaria, who essays the role of Bagha, recently shared a selfie with his co-star from their Iftaar party.

However, Tanmany’s selfie was brutally mocked by the netizens. While fans credited him for showing the beauty and the unity of India, many trolled him for celebrating the festival of a religion that has taken many Hindu lives.
